Old Town is listed on the National Register of Historic Places for its well preserved and renovated Main Street. Many of the 19th century miners’ homes, boarding houses and schools are also Nationally Registered Historic structures.
Extensive renovation has been underway since the late 1970′s. Park City government administers a grant program to encourage owners to restore their properties. Historic Main Street is the center of activity, offering boutique shopping and gourmet dining, enhanced by the addition of the Town Lift, which offers excellent mountain access.
